It’s that time of the year where we all bring out those recipes from the past. Most of my holiday memories include the times I spent with my mom preparing for the holidays making and decorating sugar cookies with cookie cutters, super shooter cookies, chocolate no bake cookies, and best of all…… peanut butter fudge!!! Since I have already made my first batch of peanut butter fudge for the season, I thought you might like to try it yourself. It is easy to make and always sets up! Let me know how your family likes it.
MARSHMALLOW CREAM PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE
1 and 1/2 sticks margarine
3 cups sugar
2/3 cups evaporated milk
1 7oz jar marshmallow creme
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
OPTIONAL ….. 1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts
Mix margarine, sugar and milk together and bring to a full boil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Make sure you stir constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, marshmallow creme, and vanilla. Pour in a 13 x 9 baking pan that has been greased with a little margarine. Let set until hard.
Fudge tips…My kids don’t like nuts so I use creamy peanut butter, but my husband loves it with a cup of pecans or walnuts added to the recipe. So, yes, I make 2 batches at a time and I find myself eating from both pans!!!
Hey Bobbie,
I have made a lot of fudge over the years and have always used the Peanut butter morsels and some chopped peanuts. I never thought of using Peanut Butter in the recipe.
If your family likes peanuts, using crunchy peanut butter in this recipe is the quickest way to prepare it.
