My kids look forward to our family New Year’s Eve Party. We always make their favorite Orange Sherbet Punch and cook lots of appetizers. This is just a fun time for my family to be together, watch Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2011 with Ryan Seacrest and wait for the ball to drop. We have also shot off fireworksfor New Year’s Eve, but this year fireworks are banned for our area. Be sure to check the rules on fireworks in your area if you plan on purchasing some.
Today I found some great New Year’s Eve Party Ideas on Celebrations.com. I was impressed since these ideas included your kids, whereas many think of New Year’s Eve as being a holiday just for adults. We always stay at home with the kids on New Year’s Eve. We involve the kids in bringing in the New Year and no one is in danger of being in traffic accidents due to irresponsible drivers.
Thanks so much for your blog, you are an amazing person. I read your blog about being a stay at home mom and I had tears in my eyes. It is very obvious that you are a very loving mom and wife. Keep up the great work.
Take care, Phyllis
