Christmas will be here soon, along with many new items that you may not have room for. Many people are looking for deals right now onEbay, Craigslist or area websites. If you can make time to gather up your unwanted items such as toys, Christmas Decorations, Artificial Trees you no longer want to use, party clothes, gently used kids shoes, and coats, you could sell them on Ebay, local newspapers, consignment shops or donate them to the women’s shelters, Goodwill or etc.
The quickest way to get rid of your items would be to donate them or drop them off at the consignment shop. Ebay is lots of fun, but it will take you more time. Also, when selling on Ebay, keep the size and weight of the item in mind since the buyer will not want to pay for expensive shipping. You can read more about selling on Ebay from my post on “My Reason For Starting A Blog.”
I clean out my stuff every year at this time and have sold my items to many mom’s for Christmas Gifts. Just $3 or $4 per toy adds up fast when you have a few bins to get rid of. The large items sell first, like shelving, tv stands, high chairs, playpens, etc. You will feel so good being able to help someone out with their Christmas Shopping and will make money at the same time!
It’s alright if you run out of time to get everything sold before Christmas. People will keep buying after Christmas since many people get money as gifts.
I’ve recently started a blog, the information you provide on this site has helped me tremendously. Thank you for all of your time & work.
