Hot Chipped Beef Dip Recipe

Hot Chipped Beef Dip
Great Holiday Party Dip!!

8 oz. cream cheese
2T milk
1 jar (2.5) oz dried beef
1T onion flakes or slivered regular onion
1/4 c green pepper
1/2t garlic powder
1/4 t pepper
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c pecan chips
In a mini-chopper, grind up dried beef, green pepper, onion.
Melt cream cheese in a sauce pan in the milk,
Add chopped up mixture to sauce pan,
Add pecans if you like nuts
Heat on low for 20 min.
Can transfer to a small crockpot or fondue pot to keep warm during the party.
(It’s not tasty if it gets cool and the cream cheese sets up).
Serve with Fritos Dippers, or Ritz crackers, or rye cocktail breads to drop half a teaspoon full of the hot mixture onto.
Men particularly love this hearty cold weather warmer!
