About Me:
I need to share a little background information with you through my mom blog before telling you what happened to me the other day. Remember, I am a stay at home mom and write a mom blog. I have two children and drive a mini van back and forth through town to school and sports events. I have never had a speeding ticket and I am always the one who holds up traffic because I am afraid to pull out onto the main road because of all the fast oncoming cars.
My Story:
I am sitting in the living room with my husband and my preschooler, listening in amazement while the preschooler tells his dad about the speeding ticket I got that day! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I didn’t get a speeding ticket. What was he talking about? Then, my husband looks at me and says “Did you get a speeding ticket today?” “If you did, it is ok,” he said. I couldn’t believe this, but I have to admit, the preschooler’s story was VERY believable. His story finally brought out my innocence as he told about the policeman sticking his head in my car window and saying “You owe me money for driving so fast!”
As his story progressed, we realized that he dreamed this. He REALLY thought he was in the car with me that day while a policeman pulled me over for speeding. Has your child ever “told on you” for something you didn’t do? If so, I’d love to hear about it. You can share your story by entering it in the comment section of this post. I can’t wait to hear from you.
