In an earlier post, Personal Review of the Insect Lore Live Butterfly Garden, I talked about my family’s experiences with the Insect Lore Live Butterfly Garden. Good news, the cocoons made it through my preschooler’s excitement and so far we have had 4 out of 5 cocoons hatch. The fifth cocoon is shaking and the butterfly has yet to free himself. The Insect Lore Butterfly Garden has been a great experience for my whole family.
Everyone has had a great time watching the changes and now seeing the butterflies as they move about. They are almost ready to be released. My son wants to release them in our flower beds so they will be sure to visit often.
Once you have bought the collapsible observation ButterFly Garden, you can reorder the butterfly larvae as often as you wish. My preschooler is so excited about his butterflies that I can see us ordering new larvae real soon!
This product is well worth the money. We have used this kit for two years now and has never failed. The caterpillars arrive within a day of ordering and watching them change is the most amazing process. I have put pics on my blog of what has been happening to our butterflies.
We love it, but the dog loved it better! We forgot and left it outside after releasing our butterflies and now our “butterfly garden” needs a little patching up!
