This is definitely a must for the Summer if you have a full size electric / hand crank ice cream machine! My family loves this homemade banana ice cream. We make it for special occasions and ALL the neighbors look forward to it since they know there will be leftovers.
HOMEMADE BANANA ICE CREAM RECIPE
6 Eggs (well beaten)
2 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 -14 oz. Cans Sweetened Condensed Milk
Dash of Salt
1/2 Gallon Whole Milk (heat on stove until warm)
3 Tablespoons Flour (mix with sugar)
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
6 Mashed Ripe Bananas
Mix all ingredients together and add to the milk. Pour in the ice cream can and watch the fill line. I always have more ice cream mix than my ice cream machine can hold. My ice cream machine suggests that you should leave 1 1/2 inches from the top without completely filling to the rim. Freeze in an electric or hand cranked ice cream machine and enjoy!
