I was asked to do a product review on the mom blog from www.wholesalehalloweencostumes.com on their costumes for Halloween in exchange for a free costume of my choice.  Since my child loves Jack Sparrow, I chose the Disney Captain Jack Sparrow Deluxe Child Costume from the Pirates of the Caribbean Movie.  My 5 yr. old never dresses up, but I figured this would be a great Halloween Costume for him.  Surprise, surprise, the Captain Jack Sparrow Costume came and my son immediately put it on.  He loved it and so did the dog!  We had to put the dog outside since she was trying to eat Jack Sparrow’s hair!  Within 2 weeks time, my son has worn this a few times and loves hanging around the house in it.  If him and the dog keep playing like this, I will have to buy him another hairpiece to use for Halloween!

The sword did not come with this Captain Jack Sparrow Deluxe Child Costume.  That was something that my son personally added to his costume from the playroom.  The costume is complete with a shirt with attached vest, fabric sash, two belts with attached buckles, pants and boot covers, hat and an awesome bandanna with beaded braids attached.

In order to make Captain Jack Sparrow’s facial hair, I used brown eyeshadow and an eyeliner brush.  It washes off easily and it won’t leave a permanent “5 o’clock shadow on your child.”  You can also purchase additional Jack Sparrow accessories from this site to go with the Jack Sparrow Costume if you’d like.  There is a size chart on the website which proved to be very accurate when using it to find my child’s size in order to place my order.

This kids Halloween costume is made from 100% Polyester and says to hand wash in cold and not to use bleach or dry clean.  In my opinion, this costume was definitely a bang for your buck!  I will definitely reorder from this site.  My older son saw this costume and is already on the site picking out his Halloween Costume.  This is a surprise since in the past, he has been “too old” for store costumes and has been throwing together costumes of his own from his closet.
