Grandma’s Good Sugar Cookie Recipe

My son went to Grandma’s and came back bragging on the sugar cookies they made while was visiting.  These sugar cookies can be made quickly by forming balls or rolled out and cut with cookie cutters.

Oven 350

Time 10-12 min.

Mix together:

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup oil
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Add:

• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients above very well.

Form into little balls or roll and use cookie cutters.

Lightly grease cookie sheet and smash formed balls with a fork.

Sprinkle with sugar or sprinkles and bake.
