Teacher to Stay At Home Mom to Mom Blogger

How BlogWithMom.com Came About (JT99JMNPR7ZV)

I currently write BlogWithMom and am a stay at home mom with two boys and a husband.  I taught fifth grade, looked forward to going to work everyday and loved the interaction with the students and parents.  After having my first child, I decided it would be best for my family if I were to stay home and not return to teaching until my son got older.  Well, here I am, a mother of two and still at home, instead of in the classroom. I’ll let you in on a little secret….I don’t intend on returning to the classroom.  I enjoy staying home with my kids and knowing that I can be there when they need me without making my boss mad about needing a day off.

I love browsing the internet and found myself signing up for an online marketing program.  I started writing advertisements and earning extra money from multiple affiliate marketing advertisements.  I have a special account manager from Amped Media that began to suggest the idea of “mommy blogging” to me.  Finally I took her up on this idea and began my blog.  I have never been “mommy” to my family, but always called “mom,” so that’s how BlogWithMom came about.

I look forward to posting new ideas and also to reading the daily comments, tips or recipes from my readers.  I enjoy running affiliate marketing ads online and look forward to sharing my favorite ads with you through my mom blog.  Many of these ads will be ones that I have personally used or think could benefit my readers.  I get a commission off the sales that are generated from these ads on my blog. My main purpose for BlogWithMom.com was to develop an online community where moms everywhere are invited to share their helpful hints, recipes, and daily tips with moms everywhere.  I want my blog to be a place where you can interactively enjoy yourself for a few minutes reviewing posts,  leaving comments, posting tips, recipes and funny stories.  If you’d like to read more about me, check out the following post:  My Reason For Starting A Blog.

  1. I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content for you? I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome site!
