Mom Review: Eco-Friendly Natural House Cleaners

I have recently been introduced to Natural House Cleaners and was sent three natural household cleaning products to review:  Trashy, Sinky and Flushy.  Each cleaner works on what it suggests:  Trashy is a trash can deodorizer and scrubber.  Sinky is a disposal scrubber and drain maintenance, with Flushy being a toilet bowl cleaner and drain & septic treatment.  What original names and non-bulky, convenient packages containing a 30 day supply!  These Natural House cleaners are all of a non-toxic, professional grade, phosphate free, eco-friendly and biodegradable.

Trashy comes in a 4 oz bottle and has a childproof spray nozzle that will definitely keep your children out!  I almost broke the nozzle off my Trashy when I first opened my Natural House package.  I was so eager to try it out, that I didn’t take enough time to check out the child proof nozzle!  This spray comes in a fresh wintergreen scent and is made to work on both indoor and outdoor trash cans to dissolve odors and grime.  I have used this deodorizer for two weeks and now have 3/4 of the bottle left.   Every time I change out my kitchen trash bag, I spray the bottom of my can, wipe it dry after a few minutes and insert a new bag.

Sinky’s 30 day supply includes 4 water soluble packets and comes in a fresh citrus scent.  Sinky’s probiotic action is made to digest odors and scour pipe build up.  The packaging reads:  “Sinky probiotic cleaning packet breaks down grease and food scraps to help prevent clogs and slow drains.  Used weekly, Sinky will scour your drain and disposal driving out odors at their source.”  I have to say, this isn’t a part of my house that I normally clean on a weekly basis.  My garbage disposal isn’t used on a daily basis and I had never thought about the need for cleaning my pipes.  I have used 2 of the packets so far and will continue the treatment to see if it is something that I would like to make a part of my weekly routine.

Flushy also contains 4 water soluble packets in its’ fresh mint scented 30 day supply packet.  Flushy is made to cut through stains, scour your pipe build-up and maintain septic health.  Flushy’s packaging reads:  “Flushy probiotic cleaning packet is a powerful toilet bowl cleaner & drain and septic treatment in one.  Our professional strength formula cuts through stains, hard water and calcium deposits in the bowl.  Our probiotics continue to consume toilet paper and waste build up in the p-trap, drain and pipes, and maintains the health of your septic system.”  I have to say, this is my favorite of the Natural House cleaners.  You will not believe the amount of blue cleaner that comes out of this packet.  The first time I used this packet, I dropped it in the toilet bowl and waited until the water soluable packet began to fizz and cleaner filled the bowl.  The disposable toilet scrubbers that I usually use do not have half as much cleaner on them as was in the Flushy!  Sometimes I have even had hard water stains that my cleaners won’t always cut through.  The Flushy was great and will not leave me with any stains on my toilets.

As stated by Natural House, “Our cleaners contain good probiotics which continue to scour, clean, consume odors, grime, grease, and germs, and they continue to do so until your next weekly treatment!”  You can’t ask for anything more.  It’s a great feeling to know that these cleaners keep cleaning for another week after being place in your toilets, sink and trash cans.
