It’s now been sixteen weeks since I started my Weight Watchers® plan dedicated to an awesome Christmas Party outfit! I have now lost a total of 23.2 pounds so far and have dropped two pant sizes!
I did not gain or lose any weight this week. I went over my flex points by 3 points and had Papa Johns pizza two nights, a few pieces of cake and a serving of ice cream! If you’ve been following me, you can see that I still enjoy my treats, but continue to lose weight. Although I didn’t lose any weight, I didn’t gain any, so that’s ok since I did enjoy myself last week. The true test will be next week’s weigh in since I will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. You know how that goes, everyone brings their favorite dishes and you end up eating a little of everything. In my case, I usually end up eating a LOT of everything!
My advice to you, is to join Weight Watchers online and learn how this program works. Learn how to schedule out your allowed amounts of food for the day and what foods you need to cut down on or add into your diet. You’ll be surprised at how well you can do the first week after altering your eating habits. Keep in mind, this is a lifestyle change. Once you lose all the weight you need to, you will have to maintain your weight loss. You will not be able to go back to your previous eating style and expect to keep your weight off. For instance, after learning about weight watchers, I changed brands of bread, butter and even snacks bars that are kept in the house. No one in the house minds or even notices the changes anymore. It just requires you to learn how to read nutrition labels and find your own favorite brands to bring into your house.
