BlogWithMom Hits Week 18 on Weight Watchers

Today marks 18 weeks since I started tracking my food intake with Weight Watchers.

I stood on the scale this morning after a HUGE holiday food binge and saw a 5 pound weight gain.  Yes it is depressing to see this, BUT I knew this would happen and I REALLY enjoyed myself over the holidays eating pecan pie, vanilla cake, blackberry cobbler, chocolate torte, peanut brittle,chocolates, cherry cheesecake, pizza, and a Traditional  Thanksgiving  Dinner!!! I’m lucky that my pants still fit and I ONLY gained 5 pounds.

When you gain weight quickly, you can also drop it quickly if you get yourself back on track.  Next Monday, I am determined to show a weight loss and am back to counting my points plus values, so be sure and check back next Monday to see how I fare this week.  I KNOW Weight Watcher’s works.  I gained weight this past week because I tuned out Weight Watchers and reconnected with my obsession for sweets!  It is very important that I get myself back on track and lose this additional weight on top of the pounds I need to lose before Christmas.

  1. You have to let yourself go once in a while just to keep your sanity. You should be back on track again in a couple of weeks. Nice to see your losing weight without weight reduction pills to help you. Well done!

    I agree it’s hard this time of year to stay committed to your diets, but just keep at it and you will see results..good luck I hope you lose those 5 pounds and them some!

  3. I know it stinks to gain 5lbs – But you have a very positive attitude! You had a great time with friends, and family, and even though you hit a little bump, I know you’ll lose it really fast :)!

    You’ve lost so much, and 5lbs is nothing for someone as strong as you! Keep going :)!

    1. Thank you Amanda, I\’ve already lost a little over a pound of it my \”holiday weight.\” It\’s hard to stop eating so much when you GORGE yourself for a full week! LOL
