My son takes seventh grade math and often brings home math problems that blow my mind! Since my son doesn’t have a school issued math book to bring home, I have to search online for the steps that will help me explain the math problems to him. This can take forever, and sometimes I don’t even find what I need in order to understand the problems. I heard about the Algebrator software and couldn’t wait to test it out. I was given a free download from Softmath.com and made sure it was downloaded on my son’s computer. I showed him how to use the program and we watched the algebra tutorials which applied to his math level and then checked a few of his problems with this software. Now that he knows how to use this tool, I don’t have to stand over him wondering if I am correctly solving his math problems. He can try to work his problems himself and then refer to Algebrator to check his answers and review the steps needed to solve the problems.
This program will work on simple math problems such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems all the way up to college algebra. For example, if your child were memorizing their multiplication tables, they could write down their tables and then check them using this program all by themselves! Algebrator can help my son learn the proper steps to take in solving his math problems which keeps me off Google searching for answers throughout the week. I wish I would’ve have come across Algebrator earlier, it could have saved us hours of upsetting homework sessions at the kitchen table. But now that my son has this installed on his computer, no more math headaches for me in the future! Thanks Algebrator!
