Irresistible Strawberry Bread Recipe

This strawberry bread is great!  I was given this recipe in 1999 along with a loaf of this irresistible bread as a Christmas gift when I taught school.  You’ve got to make this one, your family will love it!  This recipe makes 2 loaves and it freezes well, if you can keep from eating it long enough to cool and get in the freezer!

IRRESISTIBLE Strawberry Bread

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 eggs beaten
1 & 1/4 cups vegetable oil
2 (10 oz.) packages frozen strawberries, thawed (with their juice)
Combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.  Make a well and add everything else, including strawberries with the juice.  Mix well.
Preheat oven to 350.  Pour the mixture in to 2 greased and floured 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pans.  Bake for one hour.  Cool loaves in the pans for about 10 minutes.  Remove and cool completely before slicing.

  1. Holy easyness!

I’m amazed that you pretty much just mix together typical baking ingredients with strawberries and get THAT! As someone who is scared to bake any kind of bread that doesn’t come from a box/bag (muffins, cupcakes, etc.), I have to give this a try.

    1. Yes, I am not a bread maker myself, but I can make this one! It is so moist, posting this recipe has made me want to make it now. Just need to run to the store for the strawberries.
