Ever Played Angry Birds?

My kids and my husband all play Angry birds and even my 6th grader’s teachers talk to their classes about playing Angry Birds.  I never play online games, but figured tonight was the night for me to try Angry Birds out for myself.  I found four versions of the game:  Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day Angry Birds.   I played all four versions and NEVER passed level one on ANY of the games! LOL  The closest I came to moving on to level two was on the Halloween Version.  All my birds went flying, this way and that, and the pigs, they just laughed at me, because they were not getting hit!  When I first started playing, my husband was even giving me “Angry Bird Pointers,” but it looks like I need A LOT more practice!

If you’ve got a few minutes and have never played, try it out.  I’m curious if you will make it past level one right off the bat, or if you will crash and burn like I did.  I have seen many Angry Bird tee shirts and gear.  It’s amazing how these birds could become so popular so quick.  I know Angry Birds has been around for a long time now, but I normally don’t play many online games.  Curiosity just got the best out of me and I had to try my luck at Angry Birds.  It sounded like so much fun.  Each time my kids play, they really get into the game making all these noises as they play.  All I could do was laugh at myself for not being able to pass the first level!

Have you ever seen an Angry Birds Cake?  My kids would love it if they came home from school one day to find an Angry Bird’s cake on the kitchen table.  I found a great cake design on the Discount Party Supply Blog.  I haven’t never attempted anything so detailed, but the design looks great and Discount Party Supplies included a step-by-step Angry Bird cake tutorial along with the design.  If you make this cake, be sure and send me a pic, I’d love to see it!
