Fruit Pizza Recipe (Sugar Cookie Cake With Fruit)

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and my boys love those large cookie cakes.  Here’s a recipe that my boys love to make as much as they like to eat it.  We are planning to make this on valentine’s Day this year.  If your family likes fruit and sugar cookies, they should like it too.  Get creative with it, this recipe is really fun to make with your kids.

Fruit Pizza Recipe

  • 1 (18 oz.) pkg. refrigerated cookie dough
  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups assorted fruit: (My kids like to use grape halves and strawberries)

You could use strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, kiwi, pineapple, or mandarin orange slices

Preheat your oven to 325 and arrange the cookie dough on a 12 inch pizza pan.  You want to spread the cookie dough across the pizza pan all the way to the edges.  Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.  Set this aside so that it can cool when it comes out of the oven.

Mix the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla together to make the topping for your cookie.  After the cookie has cooled, layer on the cream cheese  topping mix and design your cookie with your fruit.

I like to keep this “fruit pizza” in the fridge.  We’ve also made these on individual sugar cookies so that everyone could create their own, but we have more fun designing and eating the large sugar cookie version.

Enjoy,

Bobbie Anne
