Get Involved: Take The KIND Challenge!!!

Join KINDmovement.com, where an act of kindness can make a HUGE difference in someone else’s life.  I would like to donate to various charities, but can’t afford to help everyone.  I love being a part of the Kind Movement, because I can “donate” without needing to send any money!  The Kind Movement is based on the fact that one small act of kindness from someone can make a huge difference for someone else. This program urges people to “Do the KIND Thing,” and support their monthly KIND Missions.

Here’s how it works:

Every month, Kind Healthy Snacks backs KINDmovement.com in giving back to those who really need it when enough people sign up to do a simple act of kindness.  Kind calls it the “Do the KIND Thing” and sets up a challenge every last Tuesday of the month throughout the first Tuesday of the next month, calling it “Kind Tuesday.”  For example, February 2012’s challenge started January 31, 2012 and will run through the first Tuesday of January, which is Feb. 7, 2012.

Here’s the February 2012 challenge, you won’t believe how easy it is to do your part!

Do the KIND Thing is challenging people to:  express your gratitude to someone who serves.  This could be a member of the military, a local firefighter or even a friend who is always volunteering.   How easy is that?  This person could easily be a spouse, parent, sibling, teacher, neighbor, friend…..  This simple act will need to be carried out on or before KIND Tuesday, February 7th to be considered part of the “KIND Mission.”

If and only if, 4,000 people accept this KINDING Mission,  KIND will partner with Operation Gratitude to show their collective gratitude for the men and women who serve our country by delivering care packages to hundreds of veterans recovering in hospitals here at home!  Can you accept this KIND challenge? Get on it….

January’s 2012 mission was a success!  Check out Help Others In 2012 With KindMovement.com to read more about that mission.   You can also visit http://www.kindsnacks.com/media-center/content/do-the-kind-thing/  to read about past KINDING missions and inspiring stories of kindness.

Make sure to check back at KINDmovement.com for the March challenge which will run from February 28, 2012 to March 6, 2012.

KindSnacks sell gluten-free fruit and nut bars and sent me a sample box, that was a mistake!  These bars are great and can be eaten on my Weight Watcher’s Diet.  They are available in store and online.  I am so addicted to these bars that I can’t tell you how many runs I have made to Kroger to pick up more KIND bars!  Now that my husband is eating them too, we may need to start ordering in bulk from their website – I am NOT kidding!  I have started eating these for breakfast and get irritated when I open the cabinet and someone beat me to the last one!  So, make sure you enter this giveaway!
