Have You Visited Newport Beach, California?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Newport Beach for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Summer is almost here and there are SO many vacation destinations to choose from when planning your getaway.  Have you ever thought of visiting Newport Beach in California? Make sure you check out their site to see what this destination has to offer your family.  Visiting their site is a great way to find out about area attractions, nearby hotels, city information and more.  The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach hotel is in the area and has a great family promotion. Families can buy one full price room and get a connecting room for half price to be used for kids 18 & under.  This resort-style bayside beach hotel sits on 26 acres and offers activities such as ping pong, shuffle board, a 9 hole golf course and 3 pools and whirlpools.  If you’d like to find otr more about this special promotion, call the hotel at 800-233-1234 and ask about the Family Plan.

I checked out the “Things To Do” tab on their site and think my family would be interested in the Balboa Fun Zone.  It is one of the oldest South California’s coastal amusement areas  where I’d love to test out the waterfront Ferris Wheel!

I’ve never been to California, so this may be a great vacation for my family since we love visiting the beach!  We pack lots of snacks, pack our cooler full of sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks, coat ourselves with sunblock and stay at the beach most of the day.  The kids love to build sand castles and ride their boogie boards.  Once we leave the beach, we head back to the motel, grab a little rest and explore the town for a great local restaurant that has lots of cars in the parking lot.

Did you watch the Newport Beach video?  What did you see that caught your attention?  Have you ever been to Newport Beach or a similar destination?  Do you live close enough to make a weekend trip to New Port Beach?  Do beach vacations rank high on your favorite vacation list?   I’d like to hit the beach, check out the shopping, and test out the restaurants for at least a week since I’ve never vacationed in California.

Did you notice the available kid summer camps?  They are held for kids 3 & up and offer tons of activities for the kids.

Now, why do YOU think you need this vacation?
