Mom’s Cobbler Cake Recipe
Choose which kind of canned fruit you’d like to use and heat it in a 9 X 9 pan along with a stick of butter or margarine. (I like to use cherry!)
**If you use cherries, I suggest adding 1/4 cup sugar to them to sweeten them up a bit before heating them.
Mix:
1 cup sugar
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
Pour this mixture over the butter and fruit filling in your pan.
Bake this cobbler at 375 for about 45 minutes.
When it is half way done, sprinkle sugar on top.
