I have never been one to carry around music with me. When I go to the gym I like the group interactive classes and they always play music throughout the classes. Now that I have had this knee surgery, I am not fast enough or strong enough in my left leg to participate in the classes that I love – Zumba, body pump & step. I have a personal trainer that is working with me to get me back to speed again. I see her two days a week and then I must go to the gym on my own for four days. I do suspension training when I am with her and I am expected to do 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike and 10 minutes on the balance ball and I am bored! The shows on the televisions at the gym are muted, but wouldn’t hold my interest anyways and they have turned their music down so low you can’t hardly hear it.
I need to get together a playlist to take with me to make to take away the boredom. What are your favorite, upbeat workout songs? Please send them my way, I’d love to add them to my playlist!
