Crock Pot Chicken Taco Filling Recipe
*Makes 4 servings (1/2 cup each)
You will need:
- 1 Packet taco seasoning
- 1 Cup chicken broth
- 1 lb. Boneless skinless chicken breast
Spray your crock pot with spray oil.
Dissolve your taco seasoning into the chicken broth.
Place the chicken in your crock pot and pour the broth on top.
Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. (My crock pot was finished in 5 hours.)
With 2 forks, shred the chicken into bite sized pieces.
This mixture can be use in tacos, burritos, tostadas, taco salads, nachos, etc.
You can also freeze this by placing the shredded meat with juices into freezer bags, then press out the air and seal.
Depending on the size of your family, you may want to double this recipe.
