Low Fat Strawberry Pie Recipe

Strawberry Pie

Crust:

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 T. milk

Mix with a fork, and pat into a 9″ pie plate.  Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min.

Filling:

  • 1c. sugar
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water

Cook until boils fast and mixture clears, and thickens. Remove from heat, stir in 1 pkg sf strawberry jello, cool. Gently stir in one quart strawberries. Refrigerate for a few hours.

This great strawberry pie recipe was sent in by Mommy Edition. It is low fat and easy to cook. It also doesn’t have that diet taste that my kids don’t like. In my opinion this is a very good treat for families and I love it!
