Snugg Bluetooth iPad Keyboard / Case Review & Giveaway ENDED

Now This Is My “Type” of Keyboard! I’m not sure how we ever lived before technology. If I didn’t have all of my “i” devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch, etc.), I would have a very boring iLife! Recently, I was given the opportunity to review a great accessory for my techie go-to, the iPad. The folks at Snugg sent me one of their awesome wireless Bluetooth iPad keyboard/cases to try out, and I am hooked!

After years of practice with multiple devices, I’m pretty adept at getting my fat fingers to maneuver swiftly across a touch screen. But one thing that drives me crazy is trying to type texts, emails, notes, and blog posts on those screens without a dozen autocorrect typos every time. As a seasoned writer, I fancy myself a bit of a grammar fanatic, so it drives me crazy when I misspell a word or mess up my punctuation. I’m also quite speedy on a keyboard (thanks to my 9th grade typing teacher), so I’m accustomed to zipping through any writing task that comes my way. With the Snugg keyboard and case, I can now bring that efficiency to my touch screens.

Setting up the keyboard was a breeze. The included step-by-step instructions are really easy to follow. Simply toggle the keyboard power switch, press the connect button, turn on Bluetooth in settings, let the iPad search for the Bluetooth-enabled keyboard, enter the displayed password, and voila! The iPad is now wirelessly paired with the bluetooth keyboard!

I decided to test out my typing skills with the keyboard by writing a memo in my notepad and sending a couple of emails. Since the QWERTY bluetooth keyboard is standard and just like my laptop and desktop, I was able to seamlessly type away on the Snugg with practically no typos. What’s really cool about this keyboard is that there is a built-in display stand slot that props the iPad up horizontally, so it’s almost like a mini laptop. Another neat feature is the specialized “home” screen key that allows one-touch access to all your iPad apps.

Not only is the Snugg a great keyboard add-on to your iPad, it also doubles as a case that fits snugly over the front of the iPad. In addition, the keyboard can connect to more than just your iPad; It will also pair with any iPhone 3G, 4, 4S, iPod Touch, and any other device with iOS 4 or higher. I will definitely be trying it out with my iPhone on our next long road trip, as it will allow me to literally take my work on the road.

I highly recommend the Snugg wireless Bluetooth keyboard and case for anyone who wants the functionality of a laptop with the ease and mobility of a wireless device. I was thrilled to be able to review this product and even more excited to offer one of you the chance to win one for yourself! Snugg is giving away one of their keyboards to one lucky winner from the US, 18 years & up and it could be YOU!  Remember to tweet out the giveaway daily to earn extra entries – good luck!!!
