“Swirl” Your Cupcakes

We had a birthday party for  my son who just turned 7.  He loves white cupcakes and white frosting, but I decided to add a little fun to his white cupcakes.  I swirled a little of each food coloring tube on the top of the cake batter like you see above.

Since I had already mixed up the batter real good, I was able to stir the food coloring just enough to mix up the colors and not combine them into one color which will happen if you mix it too much once you’d added the colors.
