Do you make it a point to stay away from full calorie drinks? A long time ago, I made the decision to no longer drink anything that wasn’t sugar free or at least “diet” or “light.” If I am going to consume calories, I’d much rather eat them in foods that I enjoy rather than drink them when I could just drink a “light” version instead.
We buy tons of bottled water for the gym and all our kids’ sports activities. Sometimes plain water gets boring so I make it a point to carry flavored drop ins in the car so we can have a flavored drink when we’re on the go. It saves money and makes it very easy to carry a variety of drinks that everyone will like.
Have you tried Wyler’s Light drop ins? They come in many flavors and contain only 5 calories each. Do you like Iced Tea? Wyler’s offers Iced Tea with Peach, Iced Tea with Lemon, Iced Tea With Raspberry and Half Iced Tea and Half Lemonade flavors. They also have Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade. If you prefer fruit flavors, they have Grape, Kiwi Strawberry, Strawberry, Cool Raspberry, Cherry, Cherry Limeade, Fruit Punch, Sunsplash Orange. Their newest flavor is Cherry Berry.
Do you order water in the restaurant in order to save money on priced drinks? Just keep a few packs of Wyler’s Light in your purse and flavor your drink at the restaurant. This is what I do in order to enjoy a drink at a restaurant that doesn’t cost so much. Have you checked the drink prices at the restaurant lately? Some places charge more than $2.00 for a soda, now that is just nuts!
Are you planning on visiting a theme park anytime soon? Most theme parks will fill a water bottle up for you since it is so hot, but filling it with soda costs a ton and doesn’t seem to quench my thirst when I am in the heat all day. My family and I get our free ice water refills and then toss in our drink mixes and have a free drink that we all can enjoy until time for the next refil.
