I was sent The Stump Cooler from www.wisproducts.com in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions are 100% mine and were not influenced in any way.

This Stump Cooler is great for “Outdoor” families such as mine.  It is great for those fishing trips when you need an extra seat, the backyard bonfires and weenie roasts, hunting trips and outdoor fun.  This “Stump” is not only a cooler, but it can also be easily turned into a bait saver by adding Frabill aerator which can be purchased from WisProducts.com.  Have you ever went fishing and half your minnows died on you before your fishing trip was over?  This would be the perfect gift for the fisherman in your family.  My dad will go nuts over this when he comes to visit.  I will have to check his luggage before he leaves to make sure that it doesn’t go home with him!

The Stump Cooler is made of polyethylene and has a carry strap attached to it and comes with a tight fitting lid.  It weighs approximately 4 pounds when empty and measures 19″ X 11″.  The Stump Cooler can also hold up to twelve 12-oz. cans with ice and is made right in Wisconsin.  I know my dad is always looking for American Made products, what about yours?

No, the Stump Cooler isn’t a drum, but why not?  Bobby couldn’t wait to tear the packaging off this and test it out!

So easy to carry, a 7 year old can haul it around for you.  Keep in mind, it hasn’t been filled with ice and drinks yet.  No worries, Bobby has his own plans for this cooler.  Once I was finished with my pictures, he took off to the fridge and filled the bottom of it with ice to start his review process.  He checked the ice throughout the night and into the next morning where he found ice still in his cooler after a 24 hour period while sitting inside the house.  Next came the Texas Heat contest.  He filled the bottom of the cooler with ice again and set The Stump Cooler on the back porch and started his review once more.  After all his testing, he found that this cooler would keep your drinks cool for over 24 hours, which is much better than some of my plastic lined zip up coolers that we use in the car.  Bobby even filled the Stump Cooler and took it with us in the van to the YMCA.  This isn’t really the best cooler for carrying in the van to the YMCA, but Bobby was pleased to keep it in his floorboard all the way there and back to keep his water cool for after his workout session.  Since then I’ve convinced him that we should keep this for our fishing trips and outdoor fun since it can be camouflaged in the woods while we watch the deer and also be a great hangout for our minnows.

Before we go fishing, the boys often catch minnows in the creek.  Now we can add the aerator to our Stump Cooler and convert it to a bait saver.

I’m sure the minnows would fair far better in the Stump Cooler than they would in our minnow container.

How many minnows do you think we could place in the Stump Cooler?  The boys love to catch them and keep them, but they just won’t live with an aerator, now we’ve got a solution.  We just need to order the Frabill aerator which currently sells for $11.99 on  WisProducts.com.

So many ideas for use with the Stump Cooler, Bobby even wants to use it in our living room to keep his drinks cool while he is watching tv since he is a “Country Boy.”  Now I’m sure my husband has a different idea planned for The Stump Cooler, but until then, Bobby is going to keep on “testing it out.”
