2013 Nissan Altima – Great Family Car

I love to test drive vehicles and today my husband came home with this rental car while he is waiting for new tires to be placed on his car.  He brought home a 2013 Nissan Altima and swapped out vehicles with me so I could test it out.

The Nissan Altima is very roomy and nice to drive.  It definitely has a fun, sporty look to it.

Here’s a great feature that I wish my 2011 Honda Odyssey had.  Check out the low fuel alert.  With an alert like that, who can forget to stop and get some gas.  My Odyssey just has a very small light that doesn’t catch your attention.  I haven’t ran out of gas yet, but I’ve come as close to only having 2 miles of gas left before I got to a gas station and that is scary.

Here’s another screen that I was thrilled to find in this car.  It appears as soon as you hit the start button.  Can you believe this car receives an average of 32.3 miles per gallon!

Comfortable front seat and great cup holders, change cubbies, etc.

The back seat was roomy and comfortable.  My 7 year old liked it so much, he insisted that Dad drive so I could ride back there and test it out too.

All in all, I’d highly recommend the 2013 Nissan Altima.  It’s spacious enough for a family and sporty enough to make you smile.  Here are a few great features this vehicle offers:

  • great visibility
  • drives great
  • sporty look
  • great gas mileage
  • great low gas warning
  • keyless but the ignition button is nicer than the keyless units that require you to turn the keyless ignition
  • roomy
  • lots of room in trunk and in backseat
