Our Favorite Fruit “Juicing Recipes”

My husband heard about juicing through a friend at work and called me on his lunch break to tell me all about it.  I went and picked up a juicer and a few ingredients at the grocery.  Below you will see a few of these juicer recipes that his friend eats throughout the day.

My husband isn’t a big veggie eater, but he was determined to try this “juicing diet.”  You can see a few meals that have been portioned out on plates before being juiced in the picture above.  These “juice meals” are what makes up the containers of juice seen in the first picture.  We made these meals at our house, but unfortunately we only liked the one with the watermelon in it.  My husband thought that “juicing” would be a great way to get his vegetables in.  He was told that even though he didn’t really like the taste, that the concoctions would soon grow on him.  This all sounds great, but the juice that came from our vegetable recipes tasted so bad, that he didn’t really want to drink them enough in order to find out how long it would take for his “tastes” to change.

The fruit juice recipes were a different story.  They all tasted great and he was able to take them to work each day and drink them throughout the day.

Here are a few of the fruit juice recipes that we have found that we like so far.  Remember to always wash your fruit before placing in the juicer.

  1. I would love to try the watermelon recipe. It looks delightful. I own a juicer, but have rarely used it. It’s a bear to clean and I’m obviously lazy! LOL

  2. I’ve had fresh orange juice from a juicer, from a tree that produces in a neighbor’s yard, and it was delicious.

  3. I have never had fresh juice from a juicer, but one day I would love to. I would probably have fresh orange juice.
