I love Chocolate Derby Pie and so does my family. I make this quite often. It is also a great pie for the holidays. ENJOY!

YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 unbaked pie crust ( like the pie crust in a roll that you roll out yourself – more like homemade)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1 cup chocolate chips (I like milk chocolate ) use which you perfer
- 1 cup pecans or you can use walnuts
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Use a large bowl and beat your eggs until they are foamy. Next, add flour and brown sugar and beat well until blended. Now Blend in butter and add the chocolate chips and pecans.
Pour your mixture in the pie shell and bake 1 hour, more or less depending on your oven.
This is great served warm with ice cream or with whipped cream on top!
As you can tell this is not calorie free but oh so yummy!
This holiday save yourself some money on desserts and make them with your family instead of purchasing them at the store. Yes, purchasing desserts at the store WILL save you time, but nothing beats making holiday baking memories with your family. Do you have holiday baking memories from your childhood? If so, which memory is your favorite?
