WooHoo, my LesserEvil review pack is here! I was given this sample pack of four bags of LesserEvil snacks in order to use in facilitating my review. All opinions are my own.
I received the following in my review pack:
- Sea Salt and CrackedPepper Chia Pop
- Super 4 White Bean – Quinoa – Lentil – Chia in Roaster Red Pepper
- Super 4 White Bean – Quinoa – Lentil – Chia in KALE + Roasted Garlic
- Chia Crisps in Feta and Black Olive
As you can see above, I always weigh my foods in order to stay on track with the correct portion sizes. One portion of this snack is 28 grams or 1 oz. For only 110 calories, and 3 grams of fat, this is a good sized portion. Between the Roasted Red Pepper and the Kale + Roasted Garlic, I prefer the Roasted Red Pepper and could pass them off as “barbecue snacks” to my children. As far as the Kale goes, we made way too many bad tasting Kale drinks recently, so this brought back bad juicing memories for me. So go off your favorite tastses, if you are a fan of Kale, then eat up! If you’re not too fond of Kale, then this isn’t the flavor for you.
The popcorn was so good, that it didn’t stay around for very long. The cracked pepper gave it a spicy flavor which I loved. Unfortunately the rest of my family wasn’t quick enough to get a sample before I had eaten the bag. I haven’t seen this in my stores so the first things I did after eating this popcorn was to check the store location finder to see where I could purchase my next bag. For my location, it looks like I should be able to purchase it at HEB, but if not, I’m on board for having this product shipped!
As for the Chia Crips, I was sent the Feta and Black Olive flavor, but I am not a fan of olives, but my father-in-law had this bag eaten in two days. I found the Jalapeno flavored Chia Crisps in HEB and I LOVED THEM! Since everyone has different preferences, my best advice is to grab the flavor that sounds the best to you! I will definitely be picking up additional bags of these on my trips to HEB.
All and all, I was very impressed with this company and will be adding their products to my pantry going forward. They are healthy, low fat, USDA Organic, NON-GMO and empty calorie free. You can read more about their benefits HERE. These are the perfect snacks for me to incorporate into my family’s diet. Make sure you check them out, especially if you haven’t looked into Chia products yet.
