#HoneyBakedEaster Meal Review & #Giveaway #ad ENDS 4/13

Disclosure:  I was given a $75 HoneyBaked Ham gift card to purchase food from the HoneyBaked Ham store to use in facilitating my review.  All opinions are mine and mine alone.

When I was given this opportunity, I was thrilled but part of me was a little down, because my husband always tells me not to get honey glazed meat because he doesn’t like it.  I wanted this meal to be perfect for everyone, so I was wondering what we could do to make it enjoyable for him as well.  Before I went to the store, I called them up and explained and asked them if they had any meat items without their specialty glaze and they said they would gladly fix it up for me exactly like I’d like it!  That was great news, now everyone in my family could be as excited about this meal as I was.  Bill, the man from the Woodlands, Texas HoneyBaked Ham store, told me that I could choose between boneless ham, bone in ham, smoked turkey or oven roasted turkey.  Since I love the honey glaze, I decided to get the honey glazed ham for me and the oven roasted turkey breast for my husband and then the kids could choose what they liked the best.

Check out the pictures from above, this is what I saw at the Woodlands Texas HoneyBaked Ham store.  There were so many things to choose from, so I asked Bill to help me select the best deal and he set me up.

I was able to get the following with my $75 gift card:

  • Boneless HoneyBaked Ham
  • Roasted Turkey Breast  without the glaze
  • Side of heat and serve Macaroni and Cheese
  • Side of heat and serve Cinnamon Apples
  • Pecan Pie

*******Keep in mind, the meat is sold by the weight.

Above you can see pictures from the food that I chose from the Woodlands Texas HoneyBaked Ham Store .  You can also check out their website at http://HoneyBakedFoods.com. The meal was SO easy to warm up and serve.  Everyone filled their plates and got ready to select their favorite meat since everyone knew that the turkey was meant for Dad since he wasn’t a “glaze fan.”  Guess what, even Dad liked the glaze!  The thirteen year old asked if this was expensive meat because it was so good that he could eat it all the time!  The picky seven year old even ate both the ham and the turkey along with lots of the Macaroni and Cheese.  Of course we saved the Cinnamon Apples and the Pecan Pie for last.  I have been watching my weight and was hesitant about bringing home the pie because I was afraid that I would eat too much, but I knew my husband would like it so I brought it home.  Well, the only thing I can say is that if you pick up a HoneyBaked Pecan Pie, you had better pick up more than one because ours didn’t make it through the night!

Bill explained to me how simple it was to warm up the Pecan Pie and also how the Easter Ham and Turkey Combo meal plan worked.  Looks like I will be headed back that way for Easter.  This meal would really make me “shine” when the inlaws come to visit. This meal is also perfect for families like mine that are always on the go!  Check out the picture above to see the great left overs that I have for future sandwiches, etc.  We have over 5 pounds of meat left!  With two very active boys, my husband and I are always on the go, so we need food that can be quickly prepared and this is perfect!  Sometimes we only have 20 minutes after the kids get home from school to eat, change clothes and hop in the car.  The HoneyBaked Ham and Turkey is perfect for this.  If you should have too many leftovers, it can be easily frozen and used in the future.  Thank you HoneyBaked, for making the rest of my week so easy for me!

Did you also know that you could eat lunch in the HoneyBaked store?  I thought it was for only picking up hams and turkeys, but I was wrong!  They offer great sandwiches and even on the go desserts.  Check out their lunch menu above!  If you are in the area, I highly suggest that you visit this store, it is located at  25507 I-45 North Spring, Texas 77380.  Ask for Bill and tell them that BlogWithMom.com sent you, he was so helpful and even helped me carry my meal selections out to the car.  If you’d like to call ahead of time, you can reach this store at 281-298-6100.  They are open Monday – Sta. 10 am – 6 pm and closed on Sunday, so make sure that you plan ahead for those big Sunday afternoon get togethers.
