Easy Banana Pudding Recipe


I LOVE Banana Pudding and since Recipe Linda is such a great cook, I asked her to share her favorite banana pudding recipe on the Mom Blog.  Here is what she had to say about this recipe:  I love this recipe as it is very easy and quick to make!  You can find more of Recipe Linda’s creations in our recipe section.

You will need the following:

  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 – 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1  – 6 oz instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 – 8 oz cool whip
  • 5 bananas sliced
  • 1 (12 oz) box vanilla wafers

Easy Banana Pudding Recipe Instructions

  1. Blend the cream cheese with the milk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the vanilla pudding mix with the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Fold in half of the whipped topping and mix thoroughly.
  4. Layer this mixture in a 9 x 13 inch pan, starting with cookies first, then add bananas and then add the pudding.
  5. Top with remaining cool whip and chill.

I have to say that typing up this Banana Pudding recipe up sure makes me want to head out to the store for the ingredients.  Fitness and eating right is a priority of mine, but sometimes you have to spoil your family a little.  Every family, no matter how health conscious has to “live a little” now and then.  You can always use sugar free pudding, skim milk and low fat cream cheese if you are concerned with the ingredients used above.  You can always use portion control and serve in small individual containers instead of allowing everyone to dip out their own servings.
