I love living in the Houston Area because there are so many great things to do. Our family went to see the Houston Rockets play basketball at the Toyota Center and we had a blast! Here’s a picture of the line in front of the Toyota Center as we waited patiently for the doors to open an hour before game time.
Here’s a photo that I captured right as soon as we showed our Houston Rockets game tickets at the entrance. There were people everywhere, headed to the Rockets gift shops, stadium food stands, ready to experience a night of Houston Rocket’s Basketball fun.
Are you ready to size up your wing span? Bobby comes up to Yao Ming’s waist. You Ming is a former Rocket’s player and stands 7 foot, 6 inches tall.
Here’s my highschool basketball player. He would love to match up to Yao Ming’s height / wingspan.
Here’s a shot of the Toyota Center’s basketball court before the game began. The kids were so excited and already planning on how they could come back again. Experiencing a live sports event is much more fun than watching one on television, but once I started yelling for the Houston Rockets, my oldest probably wished I was back home watching from our living room. He gets embarrassed easily and didn’t realize how much I yelled and cheered while watching basketball games since he is always playing when I am in the stands yelling.
Our family has been lucky enough to also attend Houston Astros baseball games, a Houston Aeros hockey game and Houston Texan football games. This is just a perk of living near a large city like Houston, where so many fun family activities are offered.
