Are you still trying to lose those last few lingering pounds from the holidays? It can be done just keep going! My family loves Popeyes chicken tenders but there is no way that I can get full on the amount of calories that I am giving myself if I eat Popeyes chicken tenders with them right now. I am counting calories and eating Popeyes chicken tenders would either run me way over my daily calorie count way too soon or I wouldn’t be full after eating my allotted serving size. Three mild tenders pack in 340 calories while three spicy tenders pack in a little less with 310 calories. Click HERE to see their nutrition guide.
This weekend, I was ready! We pulled into Popeyes and I pulled out my AdvoBar. I love chocolate so this is always a great alternative for me. This meal replacement bar is packed with 215 calories, 3 g fat, 2 g fiber and is chocolate peanut butter in flavor. The meal replacement bar is thick and chewy so if you eat slow, you can continue to eat this meal replacement bar while your family is enjoying their meal. I try to always keep one of these bars handy because you never know when you are going to be faced with a trip to the donut store, Waffle House, etc.
When I first started eating my meal replacement bars in restaurants as they ate their meals, my family wasn’t too happy about it. Now they know this is something that is important to me when I am trying to stay on track so they don’t think anything about me pulling out my meal replacement bar when we are in a restaurant. I am a big fan of Advocare and signed up to sell Advocare as an Advocare Advisor in April of 2014. Advocare has become a lifestyle change for me, not just a temporary move on my part. I drink their Spark Mental Focus drinks, take their supplements and eat their bars on a daily basis. You can read about my Advocare Story on my website: www.BeefUpYourGame.com.
