SnackNation.com Healthy Snack Sampler #Giveaway ENDED

I was given the following Snack Box from SnackNation.com to use in facilitating my review of their healthy office snacks.  All opinions are mine and mine alone.

This was such a FUN package to find on my front porch!  Who doesn’t love snacks?  They were all individually wrapped and low calories, just the way I like them!

SnackNation Box

Here’s a view of the box when we first opened it.  The font slot contains small snacks, such as nutritional bars and bags of peanuts, while the back portion holds the chips, popcorn, etc.

Of course, we had to lay all this out and grab a picture quickly because my kids couldn’t wait to select their snack for the afternoon.  We received this box just before school let out for the day, so it was perfect timing for an afternoon snack! This was a great experience because it allowed me to try different brands without having to buy in large quantities.  My son grabbed the Super Human Snacks bag first and I had seen the pop chips at the grocery, so I had to give those a try. I always spend tons of time at the grocery, grazing the isles looking for new low calorie snacks to try.  This box brought those new snacks directly to me and cut down on my needed snack browsing time.  All of the snacks included in the box were under 300 calories per serving, with most of the snacks falling under 150 calories.  I am very picky about the snacks I eat because I have lost a lot of weight in the past few months, so these low calorie snacks were definitely ones I could eat without blowing my diet plan.

Once everyone had grabbed their snack of choice, I chose three of the snacks to keep inside my car door.  I like to keep low calorie non melt-able snacks in my car at all times to keep myself in check and out of the drive thru lines once hunger hits!

SnackNation monthly delivery would be great for an office environment.

Last year I worked in an office that offered breakfast to everyone each Friday.  Of course, everyone was thrilled about Free Breakfast Friday but the breakfast was always the same:  donuts and kolaches.  This was great, except for I was trying to drop weight and every Friday it was a struggle for me to stay out of the lounge when the other employees were enjoying their high calorie breakfast.  I asked if they could offer low calorie options for breakfast and was laughed at.  I was told that everyone enjoyed their Friday donuts and kolaches and no changes would be made.  I wasn’t asking for hot food that would expire if not eaten, I would have been happy with protein bars, etc.  I would have been THRILLED to have had a SnackNation box in our lounge and I’m sure there were other employees that felt the same.  If I were in control of an office, I would definitely make sure that healthy options were always offered to my employees.  Do you own or manage an office, check it out, your employees with thank you:  http://www.snacknation.com/

It’s so easy to set up: you sign up for the plan that fits your needs, snacks are selected for you and your box arrives each month with snacks that are sure to brighten the day for everyone at your office.  The monthly office SnackNation subscription ranges anywhere from $299 (up to 19 employees) and above depending on the order size you select for your office.

Interested offices can even test out the sample box for FREE.  The only costs involved in testing out the sample box is the $9.95 shipping and handling fee.  If you are an office owner and are interested in this offer, you need to click on “Buy Now” from the SnackNation.com homepage and fill out the information.  Then you will be taken to a page with options to get the free sample box or to start your monthly subscription.

As a mom on the go, I love the idea of the home delivery snack box.  Sample boxes like the one seen in my review can be purchased for $39.99 which also includes shipping.   I enjoyed this box so much, that the SnackNation sampler is my new “Go-To” gift box for special occasions!  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thrown together a gift box through a delivery service that cost me much more money that was compiled of odds and ends that happened to be laying around their store, because they didn’t have the snack options that I had intended on purchasing.

  1. My partner’s office doesn’t provide snacks, much less a lunch hour or breaks. Small companies can get away with murder.

  2. When I worked at the college there was always food in the breakroom. Hot food, cold food, snack food, you name it. It’s a wonder we weren’t all very large because most of the time it wasn’t calorie-conscious choices. 😉

  3. There are snacks to buy at the office but the only thing provided is coffee in K-cup options.

  4. neither of us work in an office. I work from home, he works at NASA. But I truly love that everything is nutritional and low calorie, as it should be! Better for the heart, mind, soul, and body!

  5. My hubby says that his workplace has vending machines, but he doesn’t really use them. When he goes into the headquarters office, though, in NYC they have snacks there. Nice ones…all different kinds, and many healthy options.

  6. My daughter works for a university which does ag research – the fruits of their labor are literally provided to the employees free of charge – lately it’s been bags of oranges!

  7. HEllo. I am interested in the Sampler Box for my small business but when I use the link provided in your post, the Sampler box is shown as 19.99 vs the only costs involved in testing out the sample box is the $9.95 shipping and handling fee. Is there a code I need to use?

  8. I love the sound of the Super Antioxidant Blueberry Smoothie with Wheat Germ. It sounds so yummy!

  9. My husband has snack machine available at work with sodas, water, and the standard candy/chips/sweets in it.
