Texas Donations Made Easy

donation on porch

The Texas Paralyzed Veterans make clothing and miscellation donations so easy for us.  They hold donation pick ups every few months and send out an email in enough advance to allow us to get our donations together.  Since I know they will be coming, I keep an ongoing donation bag in my closet for items that I find that don’t fit or the kids have outgrown.  When the clothing pick up date draws near, the Texas Paralyzed Veterans Charity Clothing Pick Up even sends out additional confirmation and reminder emails about the upcoming pickup time and date.

The Texas Paralyzed Veterans of America pickup instructions are easy:

  • Place all donation items outside on your porch the night before.
Labeled each bag or box with “TPV” and the driver will pick them up from your porch sometime tomorrow between 7a.m. and dark.
A tax receipt for your Texas Paralyzed Veterans of America donation will be available online.
Any questions you may have can be addressed by calling 636-282-0000

Here are a few items that can be donated:

  • Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Clothing & Shoes
    Household items (pots, pans, kitchenware)
Small electronic items (computers, stereos, radios)

Would you like to schedule a charity pickup at your home? If so, check out www.charityclothingpickup.com to see if this service is offered in your area. If you would rather speak to someone in person, you can contact them at 636-282-0000

I just finished up a huge decluttering session at our house last month, but I keep finding a few items here and there which will be perfect for the upcoming donation pickup in our area. I don’t like to throw items away, so it makes me feel good to donate them knowing that someone in need will be happy to have them.
