Well, here I am again – candle salesman for the third time around! Fifteen years ago I made my own gel candles in my kitchen home business which we sold online and at local craft shows. Our home business was called Munsey’s Creative Candles. Once our son began walking, it became more of a task attending craft shows with him. One minute he was right beside you and the next he was leaning over the top of the candle jars holding out candles for the customers to smell. He was a great salesman, but understandably, he lacked the patience it took to endure a three day long craft show living out of a camper.
Soon I sold the home business and stayed away from candle sales for awhile. Then, I found myself deep into Scentsy, but grew aggravated with their program once they started changing their sales requirements. I let my Scentsy website go and had tons of Scentsy products to use for gifts and personal use. Here I am again, this time with Jewelry In Candles where I am very happy. They have a great customer service that answers my email questions very quickly . The website doesn’t come with a monthly fee and the sales requirements are very reasonable. The soy wax burns evenly and they offer both candles and tarts. Their tarts work in all the Scentsy warmers I have around the house, so it’s definitely a win-win situation for me!
Have you thought about becoming a candle distibutor? If so, this is definitely the time to start a home business. Jewelry in Candles is offering a $49 start up kit through the end of January 2016 as shown below.
You will receive a full size candle, a full size tart and a ful size jar of the JewelryInCandles body butter along with sales materials and scent samples. I paid $99 for my distributor starter kit and would have been thrilled to have been offered this one, so look into it if you have even the slightest bit of interest in becoming a candle distributor.
You can find more info about joining by clicking “Join JewelryInCandles.com.” You can use your candle distributorship to buy gifts and personal items at 30% off as well as using your candle distributorship as a home business to draw in extra income. Either way, it’s only $49 right now, so make sure and take a look.
