Last week was Summer Break and we went to the Houston Rodeo for the day to check out the shopping, the rodeo and the Georgia Florida Line concert. Check out the photo above, this is one of the stands that we saw on our way into the festivities. Each year I think about this, but I have yet to try anything. If you were to get something from this Fried A Fair stand, which would you get?
How about this? How many footballs would guess this Ford truck is packing? Both of my boys made a guess and we turned them in to the raffle. Wouldn’t it be amazing to be called and told that you had won this truck?
He was so beautiful that I just had to take a photo of him. The colors were amazing! What is a Houston Rodeo without a Texas Longhorn?
It’s rodeo time! At this point it was about 7 pm, we had been up and going since 7:30 am and I was worn out. I had 13,000 steps on my Fitbit and we still had a Florida Georgia Line concert and a night at the carnival rides before our Rodeo Excursion was over. At this point, it was definitely time for a Spark energy drink, all I needed was a cold bottled water to mix it into.

The concert is now over and it is time for the carnival. The ride above always makes my stomach queasy but my teen looks forward to me riding this with him each year, so I always make sure to ride it with him.
And of course…….time for the games! My boys are both basketball players and each one made it out again this year with a “basketball game win” under their belts.
