Are you a mother or father who has a very busy schedule and have trouble keeping up with the housework, the groceries, the laundry, and sporting events, etc.? Have you ever considered looking into hiring a nanny? If not, you might want to consider it! A nanny is a highly experienced person who primarily takes care of your child or children. You may get lucky and find one who also helps around the house with some light chores! Some nannies live with their ‘family’ and others just spend theirs days/night with their ‘family’ and then return home until the next time.

When you are ready to start looking for a nanny, I recommend going through a trusted nanny agency.  You will want to find one that has all of the bells and whistles when they are hiring nannies for families. Most nanny agencies will interview their eligible candidates and carefully match the profiles of clients with the profiles of the nannies to make sure both parties will get along well and work together with little to no issues.

Each candidate should be checked as far as identity goes. Their identity should be checked against their driver’s license, their passport, or birth certificate. The agency will also gather any information needed to explain a gap in work history.

The agency will do pretty much everything – after a nanny is secured with a family, the agency will provide assistant with travel arrangements, medical insurance and contract of employment. You have the option to draw up your own contract and hire a nanny yourself, but going through an agency provides security in many areas. Plus, they do almost all of the work so you can focus on your household and your job, or any other commitments you may have. Do you have any experience with a nanny agency?
