Chocolate OverNight Oats Recipe

Overnight oats have been the key to keeping me full in the morning until lunch and also covering my sweet tooth needs. I love this Chocolate Overnight Oats recipe so much that I wanted to share it with you. It takes just a few minutes to throw it all together and it makes 4 servings that can be stored in one cup containers for portion control.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Rolled Overnight Oats
  • 4 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 1/2 cups Almond Milk – I Use Unsweetened, Vanilla Flavored Almond Milk
  • 1/2 Scoop Protein Powder – I Use Peanut Butter Flavored

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stir well, cover and place in the fridge overnight. This mixture takes 8 hours to thicken, so making the night before is a great way to prepare for your mornings. I added up all the calories from the ingredients and each one cup serving comes to 358 calories. For the protein powder, I allotted 100 calories.
