Chocolate OverNight Oats Recipe

Overnight oats have been the key to keeping me full in the morning until lunch and also covering my sweet tooth needs. I love this Chocolate Overnight Oats recipe so much that I wanted to share it with you. It takes just a few minutes to throw it all together and it makes 4 servings that can be stored in one cup containers for portion control.

  • 2 cups Rolled Overnight Oats
  • 4 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 1/2 cups Almond Milk – I Use Unsweetened, Vanilla Flavored Almond Milk
  • 1/2 Scoop Protein Powder – I Use Peanut Butter Flavored

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stir well, cover and place in the fridge overnight. This mixture takes 8 hours to thicken, so making the night before is a great way to prepare for your mornings. I added up all the calories from the ingredients and each one cup serving comes to 358 calories. For the protein powder, I allotted 100 calories.

Once the Chocolate Overnight Oats have thickened, then I portion them out into one cup servings. These NUK bowls with lids are the perfect size and small 10 oz glass jars with lids work as well. If your family likes chocolate and are fans of oatmeal, then I suggest doubling this Chocolate Overnight Oats Recipe!
